Default Colt Mccoys value and future

Hi, anyone have any thoughts as to what will happen with Colt Mccoy.. does he have a chance to be a starter someday?

what do you currently value some of his cards and what do you speculate will happen to him?

any ranges as to what he should be worth righ now say a topps chrome auto, gold, black etc.. national treasures? spa?

would like to hear what you guys think

thanks
Ben

I hope the Packers pick him up and get rid of Harrell.

He has proved that he isn't a good QB. Value is low and will only go lower.

Not much at all right now. I have a National Treasures RPA that is losing value by the day. Say a prayer and hope for a miracle.

hes not THAAAAAAAAAT bad, was put in a bad situation with the brownies, he will be cut or traded, if put on the right team i wouldn't be surprised if he competes for a starting job, thought maybe buffalo would try him but they went with kolb

That's what I'm hoping for. Harrell is horrible.

He was definitly not in the best place to start in Cleveland. I think he has the potential to be a solid starter, not great, but not bad. He just needs a fresh start elsewhere.

Good god... Some sweet cards there, but you would be lucky to see $300 bucks these days...

whaaaaaaatt??? maybe he'll have a better chance starting on the colts, packers, redskins, or 49ers?! Best argument isn't that he needs to be with a different team to start, truth is browns suck and will always suck and are a pit to destroy players. That whole organization is a joke.

im a Cowboys fan and if I was Jerry Jones I would have brought someone like Colt Mccoy to compete vs Romo next year instead of giving him a six year contract. Romo is worth nothing to me. lots of other guys to try out like Colt.. had enough with Romo getting a new chance year after year

If you could only see my anguish, screams, and tears in the 2012 draft when the Browns announced drafting Weeden. It was about the same reaction as when someone is sentenced to death. He got the true "death penalty" of football. The Browns starting football spot :'(

JK about Browns but they seriously have bigger issues than qb. Its lame when a program blames the past 9 qbs on their problems. Funny colts and redskins pulled it off in a year. Browns cant find a franchise qb in 9 trys?

Colt isn't as bad as people make him out to be. He will have a future in the NFL if he goes to a decent team behind someone like Brees or Rodgers. Everyone forgets that 2010 season where he was decent with nothing around him. Funny that with Pat Shurmur's offense, Bradford, McCoy, and Weeden put up similar numbers.

weeden has way better talent around him, need a TE and there's no reason weeden shouldn't be productive this year IF trent stays healthy

I agree the talent Weeden had surrounding him in 2012 was 10x better than McCoy had in 2011. The woes of the offense has been unfairly thrown at McCoy for 2011.

if norv turner can't do anything with him then he's useless, norv is one of the best OC's in the NFL, weeden had some good games, but he also had some games where you would think "this guy is an NFL qb? i renewed my season tickets in hopes of a good season

It's a bit hard to gauge a quarterback's talent level when he's only played for the freaking Browns. Poor guy never had a chance from the get go. Aside from Joe Thomas, he had next to no help at all on offense.

now that he signed for the 49ers what do you guys think??

positives..
- The way Kaepernick plays he could get injured anytime
- He will be playing for a great QB coach revived Alex Smith and look at Kaep
- He will be playing for one of the top 3 teams at the moment
- 49ers has more fans than the Browns..

Colt McCoy's only value relies on Kaep getting hurt - and hurt significantly where McCoy plays more then a game.

I think Niners fans would rather not find out if McCoy has any future.

Not to mention he's a FA at the end of the year - he'll walk to somewhere he has a chance to "compete" for a starting gig. That's not SF.

That's why the Browns moved him. He's Cleveland's 3rd string. SF just happened to need a backup rental for a year in case Kaep did get hurt.

McCoy has no value today anymore then he had yesterday.

you really dont think he did better moving out of CLE.. even if its only one year, being a backup with harbaugh and a better organization trending upwards I believe is a good thing.

would rather train with Boldin-Crabtree-Frank Gore-Vernon Davis-Kaep than Weeden-Massaquoi-Greg Little- Trent richardson etc.

he was dead in Cleveland.. he was brought back to life.
