This, is funny. Due to the fact that humor is how human beings sometimes deal best with tragedy.
![]() What is NOT funny, is the heartless, name-calling and "big-man" mentality that the faceless use of the internet has created. I'm glad that people can heap onto someone whose family is currently grieving. And I'm sure that NONE of these "tough guy" internet folks have ANY skeletons in their closet or have ever done anything wrong, battled any demons, etc. This makes me long for the days before the internet...where if you had an opinion, you had to take responsibility, which sometimes included getting knocked the f$%^ out.

Look, bottom line is that he made numerous, ill-informed descisions that finally caught up with him. How many stupid mistakes can a person make. I feel no sympathy for him. Had he caught up to her in thr truck the article would've been about him beating her up. No sympathy, none, zero.

RIP
Its a really sad story. He was really maturing and everyone inside the Bengals organization had nothing but great things to say about him. I had the pleasure of meeting him once, and he came off as one of the nicest people in the world. Yes he made mistakes, but he most definitely was a very nice and humble guy. |

No doubt a sad, sad story. Either way things were going, whether he was wrong or not, the point is that a human being (firstly) and a gifted athlete (secondly) has been lost. RIP

I've been critical of his past, especially at West Virginia because I went to school there.
However, unlike Pac Man Jones, he really seemed to turn the corner and was trying to turn his life around. I've heard that Carson Palmer loved this guy and saw great promise in him. No one with his type of mistakes deserves to go out this way. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and children. For those of you who are being so cold and callous after something like this, I feel sorry for you. If something like this happened to you, I'm sure your family wouldn't like us making these type of remarks about you. Give it a break and grow up.

Ehhh. Not really. Taylor wasn't doing anything stupid. His sister went bragging to some friends about how much money he kept in his home safe, and they tried to rob him. He really didn't do anything "stupid" in my book. He went to the door with a machete, they fired at him and it ended up killing him. Hard to compare that to jumping in the back of a moving vehicle

People responding like Mr. Madbacker has to something like this pisses me off to no end. Making jokes like "Not a good pickup for week 15?" is also immature. I don't care if you hated him, but Chris Henry did not deserve to die, nor does anyone. Saying that someone does is just absolutely heartless.

![]() I can't even respond to this. I'd wikipedia the Sean Taylor incident and get the facts straight before you comment. His family was also in the home, he didn't know the assailants were armed. What would you do if you knew an intruder was in your home? Warm up a pot of coffee for them?
