Default 2013 products

After seeing how the prices raised for products last year I will be pre-ordering once I can. I will try to only buy 3 products and only a few boxes of each.

CHROME
CONTENDERS
PRIZM

What will you guys be buying and will you pre order sooner rather than later.

I wouldn't count on the same price increases considering this year's draft class compared to last.

I can't say that their will be players better then the BIG three. But again look how cheap Wilson WAS there will be a lot of latter round guys.

you heard it here first: this draft class is better than last yen
And one of the top 3 of ALL TIME (hall of famers wise)

Maybe it will be, but not for the hobby. Last years was possibly the best the hobby has seen.

I'll probably buy Topps Platinum or Finest.

That is probably true.

And it will be a top 3 draft class of all time. The current is 1983 with 7 all of famers. This will be one of the top there in that aspect.

Which is fine, but we are talking about the class in terms of the hobby. This could be the worse.

You just don't ever know what a class will be. I doubt it will be better than the 2011 class, but you just never know. I am optimistic.

I'll be buying Topps, Topps Chrome, Contenders, and maybe Prizm if they get on card autos.

As for this class being tops all time, I don't see that. Possible, sure, but very unlikely. You'll need at least 2 QB's to turn into HOFers and none of them currently have that opportunity other than EJ Manual. I don't see it.

Why do you need QB's to be good.

QB's drive the hobby. For this class to be one of the hobby's best, you need HOF QB's.

Based upon what measurements?

(Not trolling, just wondering why you have so much faith in this class).

First: this draft has depth there was first round "talent" in the third round.

Second: their are a lot of players that won't be insane but put up solid numbers and a HOF career

Third:it's just a gut feeling.

Solid numbers don't get you into the HOF, but I get what you are saying.

I don't know about first round talent in the third. I remember seeing reports of plenty of teams wanting to run out of the end of the first round because there wasn't first round talent available, but 60 or so second round talent players that made the "depth" in this draft.
And honestly, the second and third points are really the same. You have a guy feeling that THERE will be a lot of players putting up solid numbers and have a HOF career...

You made this thread talking about products and the draft so hobby love. So staying on that topic, this class will probably be the worse in terms of hobby love. No one is debating how good this class is in terms of talent, it has a lot of guys who will start in 2013. But that doesn't equal hobby love.
