Default Where are these cards at?!

So this set is released by Leaf last year, it's called Vince Lombardi Legacy. Boxes of the product initially go for $100 a pop. In the beginning there seems to be mild interest in the product and plenty to go around on eBay. Only 172 cases were released with ten boxes a piece.

Nowadays it's nowhere to be found. eBay has at most thirty some listings on a given day. Nobody knows where any of the cards are or even knows anybody who has any. Meanwhile I'm trying to collect the master set and am only a few rare cards short. Boxes have sprouted up here and there for upwards of $275 and whenever I sell extra cards off they go for pretty high prices. So there seems to be some interest. But nobody ever talks about the product besides myself and a couple of guys I know and YouTube has little to no box break videos.

I guess what I'm getting at is....where are these cards at? Does anybody know a guy that knows a guy with some rare cards? I've watched this stuff for a year and check the internet daily but it's all dried up.

Just to make this thread a little bit interesting, here are my best cards from that set. The Starr is off at BGS right now getting graded.

Do unsold boxes perhaps go back to Leaf? Maybe you could ask, Brian Grey is very helpful getting back to collectors questions.

BTW, I'm in Wisconsin and we opened tons(and qiuickly sold) about 6 cases at my shop. Not a single card for sale at my shop, there were about 5 autographs I picked up for another collector of this set a few months ago but there are no more here.

I've never heard of unsold boxes going back to Leaf and I've been in touch with them many times over the course of this year, they don't have anything.

I still need two pink autos to complete the set of sixteen. And I'm always looking for the 1/1 jacket cards, I have eleven of the forty. These cards are nowhere to be found. Last saw one listed was at the end of 2012. You remember seeing any of these cards when you broke the cases?

Thanks for the help.

Packer fans want these cards BIG time. Good luck, you need to be patient. Especially with card /5 and 1/1s

Over a year of checking the internet daily for cards from a certain set takes a lot of patience.

I saw that. Some on amazon too. Just not the rare ones I'm looking for. Thanks though!

Pretty sure my local shop has at least 1 box still on the shelf.

I hear ya buddy. It gets harder and harder to find any. Still need that extra #24 base card if you ever decide to sell.
