Default Who are the top 10 defensive ends?

Alright so I completed my top 10 CB project and just ordered my Richard Sherman Panini Contenders Ticket auto from Millcreeksports. Now I'm moving on to the defensive ends. I need everyone's help on who should be the top 10.

Why is JPP seemingly above Cameron Jordan?

JPP 11 combined tackles 1 Sack 0 FF
Jordan 14 combined tackles 4 Sacks 1 FF
I could also include Charles Johnson but eh....

Only 7 CMB tackles and half of a sack. He's not exactly killing it this season.

There are 4 DEs with more sacks than JJ and 3 DEs are tied with him. Plus Robert Quinn is only 4 tackles behind him.
He isn't leaps and bound ahead of anyone, so that statement is invalid.

Your statistical numbers are right. However they do not show things like him being double teamed every game now, his leadership and presence. Picture Peyton Manning on offense that is how JJ is looked at by his Peers on defense. He brings much more. Now I am a Robert Quinn fan as well, but if you double team Quinn he is likely not too have any sacks.

Rob Ninkovich and Chandler Jones. Not sure about being in the top 10, but I just wanted to throw their names out there.

Come on, it's been 4 games. He is double teamed every play and is coming off one of the best seasons in defensive player recent history. He is the best of the best.

I understand the point you're making, but JJ doesn't get double-teamed any more than Mario Williams, Ware or even Cam Jordan for that matter. I'm a JJ fan too, and he truly is one of the best ever at the position. Some of those other guys are receiving just as much resistance at the line and putting up great #s, but they don't have as many TV spots or endorsement deals JJ does, so they don't get as much love.
