Arrow ***2013-2014 NFL Season WEEK 5 BOLD PREDICTIONS***

Hey all! This is the second year I am doing this thread, and I think a lot of people will enjoy it. I will make a new thread each week to correspond to that particular week.

For every week, make 1-3 BOLD predictions...it can be as crazy as possible, and it can be about the outcome of a game, amount of fantasy points, or any statistic really! (e.g. Aaron Rodgers will have more interceptions this week than Tony Romo)

This is just a fun way to make some wild predictions (that may or may not come true) about some players without being ridiculed Please keep all the comments friendly, and try to refrain from commenting on anybody else's predictions if they're outlandish...because these predictions are supposed to be wrong!

In next week's thread, I will do my best to post this week's correct bold predictions if you end up getting them right! If your predictions are obviously not bold then they don't count (e.g. Adrian Peterson will get over 100 yards rushing).

Here are mine for Week 5:
  • DeSean Jackson racks up over 160 receiving yards
  • Calvin Johnson will record under 50 receiving yards
  • EJ Manuel rushes for over 75 yards on Thursday
Yours?

-------------------------------------

Here were your CORRECT bold predictions from last week's round!

NOBODY!

They are playing a sub par bills team

1. Brees is sacked 7 times in a loss

2. Bush rushes for over 130 in the first half

3. Brian hoyer throws more Tds than both mannings combined.

Lions beat GB

The reason that is bold, is Detroit has not won there since 91 or 92. I always chalk up @ GB as a loss in preseason while looking at the schedule

Guys, just so you know: in the future (I will start posting this in the OP), saying that one team or another is going to win is not very bold. Unless it's like the Broncos vs. Jags, and you say the Jags well win...being that we're only four games into the season no prediction in terms of just winning/losing a game is all that bold. However, saying something like:

The Broncos will record more turnovers off the Jags than amount of points the Jags score..

That's pretty bold

Quit whining, we are responding to your thread

PS. It is bold when you have lost 20 something straight games to this team

I'll count that one, but only because it's you

I think what I might just start doing is giving recognition to anybody who gets their prediction correct, but everyone will know what the prediction was so they can judge if it was really all that great or not haha.

Bold predictions:
Jay Cutler throws 7 TDs on the Saints
Mark Ingram comes back and rushes for 250 yards
Denard Robinson comes out as the starting QB for the Jags.

This was a joke people. I'm just making fun of the browns cuz they're such a crap franchise. That would seem obvious to some.....

further explanation on why this was a funny comment can be provided upon request.

One of mine from last week...
2. Bengals and Browns have the lowest scoring game this week combining for under 30

It was tied for the lowest combined scoring game at 23 points with the Cards/Bucs game...

For week 5:
1. Andrew Luck has a fourth quarter comeback against the Seahawks to give the Colts are win.
2. Terrelle Pryor rushes for over 100 yards and passes for over 200 yards leading the Raiders to a victory over the Chargers.
3. Jordan Cameron finishes the week leading all TE's in TD catches passing Jimmy Graham.

It's pretty damn bold if the team is an almost unstoppable force, then a shitty team beats them...

Umm not this one. Also after one loss we arn't jumping ship.

Dolphins come back strong from a lop sided loss and win.

Wake comes back from missing his 1st ever game and gets 2 sacks.
