Default Card horror stories "the dog literally ate my card"

Last night I come home from work to see my topps prime Manti T'eo patch booklet auto /5 ripped into pieces by my dog Bruno. Anyone else have any horror stories like this??????!!! Just curious to see if someone had any similar experiences. It was sitting on my dresser and my dog must have jumped up and grabbed it. Needless to say FML. But I mean I guess it's my own fault. Can't be to mad at the pup.

I won a contest on here one time and got a Furcal Auto ball. I don't collect him but always happy to get a piece of memorabilia. Well my pup must have seen me open the box, 10 minutes late I find him in his room with a chewed up baseball that he was not willing to give him. I was pretty pissed at him but I'm an idiot for leaving a ball within reach of him. Luckily neither of my Boston's have any interest in cards at all.

One of our cats pissed on the top of a shoebox I had in the floor that was full of cards two days ago. Walked into the room to get the box and saw a nice puddle on the top. Fortunately it was new and contained. Nothing seeped through. Saved it all.

Hahaha I have thousands of base cards and a handful of nice cards. And of course he chews that. Well we know now that card is SP /4 and not 5 now.

I was at work when my 3 year old son went under my bed and took my Adrian Peterson auto out of my box. He took it out of the top loader and had a field day with it. When I came home my wife was acting weird telling me she wants to buy me a box of cards tomorrow so I was like ok cool! Later that night she brings me the AP auto all ripped up and my jaw drops.

I just got a montee ball nice 2 color patch auto from R&S /32. Damn guy sent it in a pwe. The envelope looked like the ops dog got ahold of it. The card was in a top loader that it should NOT have been in. Luckily, It wasn't damaged. Must be a kid. Very low feedback and questionable packaging all around. I do have a pic before I opened it.

I think your dog was simply displeased with the patch on the card and was going to take matters into his own paws.
