Remember when Eddie Lacy was "fat" last season?

http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/shutdo...210349298.html

I hope we get another "fat" player this draft...

Ugh, NFL Network is playing "Greatest Games" Packers vs. Cardinals Wildcard 2009. I swear unless if it Green Bay Dynasty week they only play games where the Packers lose.

I don't follow much college football outside of WI, but I'd be extremely excited to see Jared Abbrederis land on the Packers with one of their 3rd or 4th round pics. WI born and bred, he's just comes off as the type of guy who'll do anything the team asks and lay out for some stretch plays or take the hit across the middle. Great hands... like a Jordy Jr.

Wonder which Late (Cheap) Free Agents we pick up do challenge for a Roster Spot, Like Vince Young did last year?

One of the most devastating losses in recent Packers memory. That whole drive in OT was heartbreaking. From Rodgers missing Jennings dee, to the missed helmet to helmet contact, to the missed facemask call. That loss and the Giants loss in 2007 were two of the worst losses that I can remember.

I REALLY want Jordan Matthews, just seems like the prefect Packers WR.

That whole thing was stupid, he pretty much looked like best RB on the team since day 1.

Worst losses for me were; Super Bowl 32 vs. Denver, 1998 Wildcard Loss vs. 49'ers where Rice fumbled the ball and refs missed it, then Young hit Owens for the GW TD. 2003 Divisional vs. Eagles (4th and 26 anyone?).
That Wild Card loss to the Cardinals was hard to swallow too, but it also showed me how good Aaron Rodgers really was. I bet even today it's hard for him to watch him miss a wide open Jennings.

Julius Peppers to wear #56 for the Packers! This is definitely more of a LB's # than it is a DL's #. You think they have him playing more LOB than DL this season?

Matt Flynn and the Packers agree to a deal! Specifics not yet available. I am very happy to see Flynn back with the Packers!

Too bad it took 3 weeks of horrible QB play before TT finally signed Flynn last year during Rodger's injury. Without Flynn we would have never had a chance to be in the playoffs. A good signing!
I think Flynn understands his role as a decent backup QB.

Smart on his part to have a visit with the Giants, probably increases yet leverage he had on getting a deal done.

There was an article that stated that was the plan. He would still play on the line, but he would play considerable amount of time as linebacker blitzing the QB.

Glad to have him back on board!

Flynn coming back to Green Bay seems like the right move for both parties. He's been terrible everywhere else that he's gone, but had some success as Rodgers's back-up. Plus we saw Tolzien, Wallace, etc. couldn't get the job done.

Agreed. Flynn is destined to be a Packer. In my mind and my own opinion he is already a Packers legend. That Dallas game was simply amazing, and even though Sheilds and Lacy had to 3 biggest plays in that game Flynn was a HUGE part of that come-back win. Also, the Minnesota game 2 weeks prior to that was just legendary. I really wish we had come away with a win after that one, but at least we didn't lose and that helped us get into the playoffs!

Who are your guys top 3 prospects you want on the draft on the first round. Within reason(no Clowney, Watkins, etc.)

Mine would be...

HaHa Clinton Dix
Anthony Barr
Eric Ebron

I like these guys the most...
- Clinton Dix (probably be long gone)
- C.J. Mosley (maybe an outside shot?)
- Eric Ebron (probably be long gone)

Outside of that, I will trust Ted to do the right thing.

Clinton-Dix
Calvin Pryor
CJ Mosley
Honorable Mention: Ryan Shazier

I want the Packers nowhere near Eric Ebron.

Gonna clip some Seahawk wings right out of the gate. Only games that will be tough IMO is Seattle, New England, and maybe we split the series with the Bears or Lions... but only one series.

I don't know the Panthers, Eagles, Falcons, and maybe even the Jets could be tough games along with all of the division games.

I can't wait to see this 2014 Packers team though. This is the most excited I have been in a long time! I think this Packers team could be the most complete team during the Rodgers era if they stay healthy and of they sure up the safety situation.
