This is the matchup I wanted... No Pats and no Niners.

Kind of want Manning to get one more ring so people STFU about him "only having 1".

And any idiot on this forum who says Manning "has this in the bag" is an idiot. Seattle is legit on D and NY in February is going to be blistery.

I think Denver takes this one. Seattle has a much better defense, but they also have a mediocre passing offense. If Lynch can run wild, I like Seattle in a close game. I don't think they can keep Manning off the field and I don't like their chances in a shootout. Too many options for Denver and a decent enough defense to make the occasional stop.

Denver 34
Seattle 21

Bronco's all the way. Manning is playing at too high a level with too many talented quick outlets should the pressure come. Bronco's win, Manning gets second super bowl ring, the skies part and champagne flows from the heavens, yadda yadda yadda.

But seriously, I'm rooting for Manning to get that second ring (and more hopefully).

Peyton is going to be playing against a lot better defense 2 weeks from today. He wasn't pressured today at all (only hurried once!) and Patriot DBs looked lost out there today especially without Talib.

Also 2 weeks for Peyton to break down Seattle's defense which is significant.

This thread isn't official if its not done by armyatc. Also, if you feel the need to make a new thread about anything pertaining to these teams or this game please reconsider and don't hurt his feelings.

Wow my first troll

I'm loving every minute of this
Also get your facts straight before posting

Every thread I linked was to the main NFC champ thread was about the same topic which was being talked about in that thread

But enough with that BS

Denver easily wins this game

I'm surprised it's so much of a difference in the poll. Wouldn't think so many would favor the broncos like that. It's a lot more even imo and going to be a great game.

Seahawks took out my Saints, so they can take out any team. Been rooting for them since then so I'm going with them to beat the Broncos. Should be a really good game

Denver wins by at least 10, yes the Seahawks have a great defense but denver has too many weapons on offense and Seattle has an average offense at best and won't be able to keep up if for some reason this becomes a shoot out which I highly doubt will.

I honestly cannot see Sherman being on that Super Bowl podium anytime soon. I don't think anyone would want to hear him speak. I do expect a great speech from Peyton after he wins his second ring.

Picked Seattle because that's what my gut is telling me.

Want Peyton to get his 2nd ring though so it would not disappoint me if the Broncos win.

Denver 31
Seattle 17

Its laughable to me that people think Seattle will score over 24 points. Seattle's offense is mediocre at best. Denvers defense is mediocre also, but when they show up they are pretty darn good as well. I think they will show up to the SB.

Hmm lets see:

49ers d > denver d

Hawks score 23 against 49ers but they can't score more than 24 against denver? Yea ok

Denver's defense shut down New England's running game. Seattle is not the same team on the road. Peyton will come on top.

O u mean just like Decker did to Talib today? If that didnt happen they wouldnt of won. But hey I dont mind because its going to be a better super bowl to watch.

The formula for beating Peyton seems to be a good running game to leave him on the sideline. Also cold weather and wind aren't his friend. I'm picking the Hawks over Broncos 27-21.

This really does feel like a Super Bowl. The two best teams in the league playing for the ultimate prize. It's been a while since we've seen a game like this, most years there's one team that got hot at the right time.

My prediction:

Denver: 23
Seattle: 17
