Default 2013 Topps Chrome SP Variation Question

This may be a stupid question and I apologize, but is there a way to tell when you pull a Topps Chrome SP Variation other than it looks different? Do it have a marking or is it a refractor? Is there a serial # on it? I appreciate your help!

The last 2 digits of that long number on the bottom/back of the card. The base are 78 and 94 for rookies and vets. The variations are 10 and 11 respectively. Hope that helps

I've been trying to crunch the numbers and am coming up with somewhere between 100 and 200. With nearly 100,000 autos in the product across all inserts, vet and rookie autos and 1 per box with 10% in retail, that means 90,000 boxes 24 packs per box = 2,160,000 packs. Average the chance of rookie sps and vet sps to 1:304 packs. That means there are approximately 7,105 SPs total across 55 cards making the approximated print run out to be 130. When you compare the prices of Sepia rookies and Black rookies most eBay prices fall between those prices so it makes sense to me that the runs are from about 100 to 200.
