I would rather have the cut. You would be getting a Brees with chipping and three rookie autos that are not even true rookies. All three are variations.

Id keep the Unitas. A guy at my local shop pulled one and sold it for $250. With that one being 1/10 you may get more for it since people pay more for them being number 1

I would keep the cut only because it's a very rare example of his signature. John C. Unitas is much different than the Johnny Unitas you usually see. Gives it more of a personal feel.

I'd do the deal, what is a "true" rookie card vs the rookie variatioins? To me, a rookie card is a rookie card is a rookie card.

Its easy to be wowed by some "big" name rookies. The ones that are variations and numbered funny are NOT true RCs. Those are called insert cards. I wouldnt do that deal in a million years, terrible trade

Keep the Cut, it's a beauty. If you want the TTT Auto Rookies you can get them on the Bay cheap, when next years product comes out. But you will never get another Johnny U!

They aren't unproven rookies, those are 3 of the 4 best 2009 rookies

Man having that Johnny U Auto is like having a Jordan auto except for the fact the Johnny U is a lot more rare. IMHO take the card lock it up and pass it down to your kids in the future.

So you are saying that Crabtree, Harvin, or Stafford will be a bust?

seems pretty fair to me that brees is nice and the rest are good trade bait. I think the sv on on the trade is pretty equal

Are you serious? Think before you post. There's always the possibility of them blowing their knee out, or just plain having bad careers. Johnny U will always be Johnny U and the card's value will always remain the same or go up as time goes on.

yeah but when he was in his prime i sold his rooke auto game gear for 230 so say these guys become super starss in three years theres a nice profit to be made. also i think the sv on all 4 would equal more than the cut

It's all "what ifs?" with rookies... I'll never see the point in investing like that, but regardless the Unitas has plenty of room to go up as well and he was a legitimate player
