Default question? any help appreciated

first off let me say this might be a stupid question

ok so what is considered a "true RAP"? i see people all the time saying they collect true RAP's or saying they only trade for true RAP's? does one manufacturer only make true RAP's? i never understood what was meant by that...

thanks for your help?

I think ones numbered to 99, or at least that's the impression I get.

It's all about the parallels. If you look at a product like Playoff Absolute, there are multiple versions of the triple jsy auto rc. Or even Topps Triple Threads, multiple versions of any given player. So some people like to stick to the base rc. Not the version that has the cutout that spells his team, or NFL, or anything like that. You kinda have to know the product.

That is what is states on the cards anyway.

"True" RAP is the same as "True RC". "True" stands for, "part of the base set". Not parallels.
