Default Baldwin done?

"The Niners announced Sunday they waived Baldwin after less than a year with the team."

I don't see how Cleveland doesn't pick him up - they can use the depth at minimum and Farmer was in KC when they drafted him.

The Panthers or Raiders will pick him up would be my guess. Both need help at receiver

Baldwin (IMO) was always garbage...........didnt look motivated to get himself better at all. I have attended Chiefs camp the last few years and watching how Baldwin practiced compared to AJ Jenkins is night and day. AJ actually looks good - I think it was a great trade for the Chiefs to get AJ and get rid of Baldwin

With all that being said......I would be pretty surprised if he isnt picked up by someone as a 4th or even 5th WR - maybe Carolina?

'might end up being decent' is not the description you want to be giving a 1st rd WR entering his 3rd year. Bad picks.

Not for long. To do what, fill out p-squad depth during camp? Sounds like Corey Fuller has been really impressing coaches so far too.

Why not come in and give him a try? We aren't completely stockted at WR after Tate and Johnson on the depth chart not saying he's going to be anything special but he has some good measurables so hey bring him into camp if he sucks, who cares? But if he impresses and gets his act together he could be a nice little 3rd or 4th option for us.

After Megatron and Tate are WRs are T.J. Jones, Kris Durham, Kevin Ogletree, Ryan Always Injured Broyles, and Jeremy Ross as well as some guys brought in strictly for camp so Baldwin might fit on our roster.

Congratulations Lions. You found yourselves a malcontent lazy bust of a player.

I hope the dude does well.......just dont see it happening unless he gets a MAJOR attitude adjustment. Maybe being around the best WR in the league will teach him a few things about work ethic and what it takes to be a WR in the NFL.
