Default Question about a red ink auto?

i pulled a Mardy Gilyard red ink Ruby Auto #ed 147/150 from 2010 Press Pass Portraits and i found an sp list for the red ink & inscription autos and it is SP to 11 with the red ink now here is my question:

do the values go up for the red autos? or does the value stay the same because of the numbering on the card?

also does anyone know what kind of value i can put on this card on ebay? i haven't seen another red auto listed yet??????

Any help is appreciated thanks!!!!!!!!!

It does go up and typically can carry a very large premium. In this case your looking at about only 7% having the red ink auto. If you haven't seen one pop up, it will be hard to price, but if the others are selling well, I'd personally start at at least double the others, if not triple or quadruple it and test the waters.

Is there a way to pin point the amount of red ink auto's? I would think the card companies would have a exact number of red inks they release.

Depends on the company. Press Pass does release the numbers, Panini does (both tend to do it in waves), Topps doesnt. UD may or may not, but typically they dont have different color auto'd parallels that arent unnumbered.

yes there is a way. go to beckett.com and type the player's last name and "red" in the search box. Beckett has the red ink variations catalogued.

To the OP, I would like to trade for that if it is available.
