Default MVP down to Rodgers and Manning?

Unless something changes in the last 4 games I think that it will be either Rodgers or Manning winning it. Right now give slight edge to Rodgers.

It's Rodgers' to lose. Only 3 INT so far, he's just tearing it up. He won't throw as many yards as Luck because they have a running game. He has proven that he can get it done with a mediocre running game, now he's almost unstoppable.

Right now, I'm thinking Rodgers over Luck. Yeah, Luck is having a decent year, but Rodgers has only had 3 bad game so far this year, and has some MONSTER games. How many times has Luck done so well that they pulled him at the beginning of the 3rd quarter?? Rodgers is going to have to have terrible for several games to be able to lose it this year.

Rodgers
Watt

everybody else.....

I would love to see Watt get it, depending on what happens the rest of the year I feel like this is one of the very few years you could give it to a defensive player and nobody would bitch about it.

I am with this post. I am a Vikings fan and I really don't see how the MOST VALUABLE PLAYER is anyone other than Aaron Rodgers and it kills me to say it. In my opinion he makes an average team a contender.

Watt has to be in the discussion. Luck top 5, Manning top 5, Murray/Brady both have a case for top 5. That being said, I don't see how anyone but Rodgers wins it if the season ended today. There's still more football to be played, but I think it's AR's to lose at this point.

It's Rodgers by a landslide right now, I think JJ Watt might sneak is way into second.

My top list

1. Demarco Murray
2. Aaron Rodgers
3. JJ Watt
4. Andrew Luck
5. Tom Brady
6. Peyton Manning

Peyton's reputation aside he's not having a great impressive year like last season and lately Brady and Luck have surpassed him for production so not sure why some think he has been having another MVP season? That's not even close to me and sounds like fanboy talk. Truth is all three of those guys are below my top three, when discussing QB's for the award Rodgers has the edge over all them because he's having the best QB season of everyone but unless he wins the Superbowl this year he can't get to number one for me.

Without Demarco having the season he has been the Cowboys are no where in the discussion for the playoffs right now and wouldn't be over .500. In a year with a clear lack of playmaking RB's he has been the best hands down and whatever happens the rest of the way with the teams record you can't take that from Murray. He is this years MVP

JJ Watt rounds out the top three for being the offensive and defensive playmaking beast he was this year. He doesn't get higher then three because he isn't having a sack leading season, and without that he shouldn't win this. Give it to the RB who likely will get close to 2000 rushing yards who broke a record held up by Jim Brown for over 60 years and who truly had a season for the ages. We haven't seen anything like that in our lifetimes.
