Pittsburgh Steelers Ben Roethlisberger ranked 3rd best QB in NFL heading into 2015 by NFL Network

Impressive at this point in his career. And good that he's finally getting some recognition for his passing game.

1. Aaron Rodgers
2. Tom Brady
3. Ben Roethlsiberger
4. Drew Brees
5. Tony Romo
6. Andrew Luck
7. Russell Wilson
8. Peyton Manning
9. Philip Rivers
10. Alex Smith

Notable quarterbacks left off the list: Joe Flacco, Matt Ryan, Eli Manning, Andy Dalton, Colin Kaepernick and Carson Palmer.

Uh no. Joe Flacco is decent at best. He should never be in any Top 10 list.

Manning at #8 doesn't make any sense to me. Especially behind Russell Wilson.

2 parts: why is Romo ahead of Luck when he hasn't accomplished anymore in life than Luck and the league is very thin at QB when Alex Smith makes the top 10.

10. Alex Smith

Dude didn't throw a single TD to his receivers last year and makes the top 10? Hahahahaha

The list is a joke.....and to name Andy Dalton/Carson Palmer and Alex Smith on the list and not even mention Stafford

Oh & Ben doesn't have to cheat, his coach will do it for him

I think Dalton should be tied with Stafford.

Just make sure Stafford is there to clean Bens shoes when he is getting his HOF jacket

Love how many people feel so strongly about Tom Brady they need to post passive aggressive stuff on a message board.

Happy Sunday!

LOL @ "passive aggressive stuff." I didn't mean to offend your delicate sensibilities. Don't worry, Tom still loves you!

I just thought you could use a break from defending him on that other thread.

Yes because you needed to change the title of the thread because you wanted to give people a break from defending Brady.

Could you be anymore obsessed? Troll harder buddy

Believe it or not.... I dont think this list is really THAT bad.... I mean Manning has shown the last few post seasons he cannot deal with cold weather, his body is failing him..... so if you drop him below 3rd or 4th..... meh I can buy that. Ben performs in the clutch and threw one of the best passes is SB history to win that game, maybe he's a touch high but he is a gamer and wins a lot of games (big games included). I actually think Brees is high, his best years are behind him and there are too many turnovers of late. Romo and Luck could be considered a push at this point... Luck upside is off the charts but last year he and Romo were about the same. Rivers is a good QB, opinions of him vary but he is certainly a top 10 guy. Wilson may be a product of the defense and running game, but he has performed so a spot in the top 10 is probably warranted at this point. After 9, you can group all those 6 guys together..... all could be awful or great in one game. I would prefer Eli at #10 but who cares really. Smith may be less likely to actually lose you a game than the rest of that group.

You two guys are the trolls. Why did you even click on this thread? You had no interest in discussing the list, only trolling the OP.

Do you really believe the OP wasn't looking for that reaction with the thread title

For the record, Alex Smith might be the 10th worst QB in the NFL. 0.0% chance he's the 10th best QB.
