Thanks for iluvfish2 for this tutorial
Step # 1 - Website Go to: ImageShack® - Hosting Step # 2 - find the file Click on Browse Then find the picture you'd like to upload (once you select the picture. Picture will have to be one of the folllowing formats ( jpg jpeg png gif bmp tif tiff swf , EXAMPLE TOMBRADYAUTO.JPG OR 05TOPPSAUTOS.BMP), you'll have to hit "Ok" This will then put the file path into the browse line. Step # 3 - select the file size Continuing down the page, you'll see a "resize image" toolbar on the right. I recommend using the "640x480 (for message boards)" or "320x240 (for websites and email)" Step # 4 - Submitting file for hosting Below the image size toolbar, you'll see a "host it" button. Click on it. This may or maynot open the links in a new window. Search the page, normally about 1/2 way down on the right you'll see these words "Hotlink for forums (1) " To the left of that you'll see what appears to be a website address. Highlight that entire link, copy it, then paste that into your post. Once you post, it will convert it to the image.

You can add an attachment to your post instead, but the size is limited so that our servers don't get hit too hard with huge pictures.

here are some screen shots that should help!
First shot I have already clicked on the Browse button and selected the image I want to upload. Once you've done that and selected the size of the image you would like to display (FYI I've found the 640x480 to work the best on the forums) ![]() then (notice that I'm below the image....select all of the text in the box thats blue. Paste that into your post and your good to go!

This has come up in the past few weeks and thought I'd add this to this thread. If you using Imageshack to upload multiple pictures, use the first link you've given for that photo (under the Embedded Code heading, and to the right of the link you want to use you'll see forums). This will not only post your photo, but elimiate the photo size border around it (which seems to shink the image size).
Hope this helps!

Since Photobucket is becoming so popular..here is what you need for it. Once you have the photo uploaded to your photo bucket. Just use the bottom link on the photo (where I have drawn the asterisk on the photo).

Just an updated for those still using Imageshack. As you know its changed and gone to more of a Java type template. Plus side, you can now easily upload multiple photos at once. Downside..additional steps to get all the links to post correctly.
If your uploading one image at a time, dont worry, nothing has really changed. Multiples can get tricky but not difficult. Once you have all your photos selected and uploaded, go to the right side of the page and scroll down. You'll see a title called Get links and Codes for All Images (last one on the page). Its going to show as its default Direct Links..change that to BB Code and the box will change and give you some code that you can copy, then go to your post and paste the text/code, and you'll have your images displayed. Let me know if this needs photos and I'll do some screen shots for it.
