PSA 7??? What does a PSA 5 and below look like...completely faded away?

As a kid, I often dreamed about owning an autographed baseball signed by a legendary player like Babe Ruth. As the years pass, and I see how bad these autos fade, I am starting to change my mind regarding wanting autographed baseballs.

Well, PSA didn't grade the auto, so not sure why the title says PSA 7. It's the seller who claims it is a 6 or 7...

As for the fading, it you keep the baseball out of direct sunlight or fluorescent light and in a UV ballcube, I wouldn't expect an 80 year old autograph to fade any further.

I wonder if its GUed by Ruth, or the person who got it signed? Personally, I would prefer a ball that had some wear on it. I think it adds to the antiquity of it.

I'm thinking the Cut 1/1 are added to get ebay hits (views). It allows the seller to use the terms that draw a lot of views and still the auction title is correct.
