this was one of the first ones that sold when goudey was first released....went for a bit over $600

I just looked it up and it was relisted although it was replaced with a BGS 9. I guess he wasn't ready to sell the BGS 9.5. I know I would have sold it with it being over $5,000.00 with 5 days left.

No...but I got a little adrenaline rush when I saw the thread from Blowout! Just can't pull the trigger on anything for that much that I don't "use" every day!

The Tiger Sport Royalty BGS 9 just sold for $7,900.00 and it still had 4 days left on the auction! That's about right considering the 9.5 sold for 11.5K. Only 5 of these bad boys were made. Only 1 is graded 9.5 with none higher! I think it's killer that a legendary baseball product like Goudey decided to add "royalty" from other sports, and then to SP some of them to 5. I talked to the seller and he had 3 offers over 10K! The Yankees team doctor wanted it bad! The voting is over.......CARD OF THE YEAR!
