That's a very nice piece for any collection.

I would love get a Mantle signature from the early 50's. They look nothing like what you see everywhere today. They are just so very hard to come by, and when you see them - they go for a good amount.

$5495 what do they think it is the Home Shopping Network? I would think that it is worth less than a tenth of that. A Mantle check would be so much more desirable from his playing days or from bailing Whitey or Billy Martin out of jail (could be post playing days for these events).
