griff with auto went for 3.6k , But Pujols for 5k ?

No diggity I love the look of the set but knowing card manufactures, once they see how well they sold they mass produce next year. Both Card sets are Illmatic though

a griffey bat barrel 1/1 from Premier went for like 3.2k which is insane because you can get a full signed jersey/bat/cleats/game used probably for cheaper

We already went over this.....

Well the Pujols at 5K is not that outrageous cause those sterling letter patches have been going between $300-800 (I am sure cause he was getting the set together so he was over paying for it).

Does everyone forget that Griffey is now wearing number 3???? That is what makes the redemption set even more worthy of its being bought. Yes, the Pujols is number 1/1, no auto and not Jersey number...

Again...very few people care about jersey numbers! IF they do...I laugh in their general direction!

But seriously, I am working on the TOMLINSON football by the letter auto set. With the $1.2k I will end up spending on that, I'm sure I could buy some great memorabilia (which I probably will and already have anyway) ... but that will be a cool set of 9 autographed cards that will look awesome on display!!

One thing people forget - what if the guy who won the Griffey makes $750k a year, and him buying this set is like a random collector dropping $200 on some card(s)?
