Maury Wills appearance at GEICO office in Fort Worth

Just got back from a signing for LA Dodger legend Maury Wills who was in town last night for the minor league team Fort Worth Cats who were a Brooklyn/LA Dodger farm team back in the day. Was the quickest signing I have been to in a long time. He was sitting out front at a table all by himself with nobody in line since it had started at 10:30 and I got there at 11:10. Got my baseball signed, picture taking with him, & back in the car on my way home at 11:15.

Great looking Auto! Sadly, the legend of Maury Wills seems to be fading. He was a Pioneering Base Stealer who really changed the game. Growing up in the 1970's his legend was still large, but as the decades pass I would be very surprised if many people know who he is and had any idea of what he brought to the game of baseball.
