GREAT COLLECTION !!!! A man after my own heart. I think investing in HOFers autos is the way to go. I have 30-40 game used but its either a really nice part of a logo patch or vintage GU of guys like Mays, Gehrig and Williams.

Topps did a great job with these sets (Archives, Fan Favorites, etc.) from 2001-2005 and now they would rather make sticker auto crap like co-signers. Heritage is the only Topps set with on card autos from HOFs.
Most of these guys won't be signing forever and these Topps sets are still very popular with set builders. You can see some insane bidding wars on the SP autos from 2001 Archives since you just can't find them anywhere. |

Sweet cards. I have been doing the same thing with all sports.
I think the reward is much betting than buying and ripping and at least I can pass something on worth something insitad of 50 5,000 ct boxes of base and commons!!! I'm on break from ripping until 2008 Bowman Baseball MAYBE Bill |
