2008 Allen & Ginter Team Case Break??

I figure we could do a team case break, all cards will be allotted according to the team represented on the card. Non baseball autos/memorabilia/inserts will be allotted through a random drawing. I figure with 30 teams slot prices could be set at $38 per slot, with discounts on multiple slots. If there was enough interest we could even add a second case as with all of the mini's, parallels, inserts and short prints there should be a good deal of value in every lot. If anyone is interested please let me know so we can get an idea of whether or not this would be a go. Thanks! Rene

Teams will be chosen randomly using random.org by inputting each member and their set number of slots into the randomizer, and matching their position to a randomization of all 30 MLB teams. We will run this as soon as the first 30 slots are full.

Case Confirmed: Please send your paypal payments to bigpapipower@yahoo.com as soon as possible so we can lock in the case and begin the countdown!

UPDATE: The case has been paid in full and confirmed by Chris. Current release date is July 23rd. Let the countdown begin!

If any of you intend to trade teams with one another please do it at least 24 hours before the break so I can change the roll and keep things straight. I am interested in two slots. One question. How would you handle autos of non baseball players? I assume at random?

Yeah, if non baseball autographs were pulled we'd have to run a randomizer to see who received the card. Same with rip cards, memorabilia and box toppers. I think it could be really fun though. As far as teams go does anyone have any suggestions as to how to go about allotting them? I'm all ears.

Make a list of all 30 teams and then randomize it. Then take the list of slot holders and randomize it. Person #1 on the list gets team #1 from that list.

I would be in for 2 slots on this...couple of things to clarify on the break though....there would be no hits? Everything would fall to whichever team that player is pictured in? Also non-baseball inserts/autos would be randomly generated along with the rip card?

Right, no hits, everything from each respective team would go to the holder of that team slot. So every Red Sox card would go to the holder of the Red Sox slot, every Yankee card to the holder of the Yankee slot and so on. Non baseball autos/inserts will be randomized at the end of the break and will be issued to slot holders in accordance with the outcome of the randomization.

And guru, slots will be $38 per for one slot, $35 for additional slots.
