Just a quick update since I forgot to post this...sent the Smith Auto in on 10/06, received it back on 10/14 (8 day turn around!) plus a pack of 07 Bowman Chrome..oh and very happy with the pack they pulled for me

What is that Smith numbered out of? Looks like 1999.

I've got 2 coming back to me hopefully soon. I'm praying that my bonus packs contain something nearly as good.

yes..1999...I got 40/1999. Just not sure why they numbered it on the front of the card...there's a nice spot on the back thats an even nicer place to number it. I was concerned long term about not having the card numbered, but to be honest in 5-10 years the card may very well sell for more unnumbered given its numbered to 1999...but this will be something to remember when going to card shows and someone shows you a super rare kevin smith auto (or any of the other rookies that signed a badzillion of these)...you can quickly counter with oh yeah the ones they didnt number and if you check he signed 2000 of them just to see his reaction.

Thats funny. I was going to buy a box of finest the other day at the LCS. The owner told me that Topps messed up by not stamping the S/N on the Auto RC's. He told the only ones worth sending back were the lower S/N'ed ones. Is that why you sent yours back Robert? Lack of S/N?

Yeah. I had some concerns about it not having the Authentication sticker on it. All being said I opted to send it in (hoping for a low #, which I got), but the free pack of cards was probably the swing vote. I think the high #'d auto's will sell much better not being numbered. Given this is wide spread through this release, it shouldnt effect the value of the cards, but makes me wonder down the road if this will be counterfitted or not.

I sent mine in for the free packs basically. Can't speak for Robert, but my cards don't have a ton of value (Manningham and Malcolm Kelly), so I figured getting them s/n'ed wouldn't hurt.

Another one of the reasons I didn't buy Finest was because when I bought last years Finest Basketball it took forever to get back those Rookie Redemptions. And also with TTT Basketball it took almost a year for a redemption.
