Coaltown should bid on them, and then maybe he will get them for less than $100, but it would still be more than it would have been if he did not bid at all!

Sorry to hear you guys didn't make out, but it sounds like if you had just hit a cut that you would have broken even, so I think it is fair to say that this concept will work if you get an expected distribution of stuff. You guys definitely got less than expected in terms of quality of break. Next time!

Honestly, swerve, BOHICA, and I should get together and break about 20 cases of Bowman Draft, using this same set-up. We could do it the weekends of December 15 and 22 and get everything listed to end the week between Christmas and New Years so all the Becketeers could spend their Santa Mojo Money. If that sounds good (20 cases for 12 grand... 60 shares at $200 each?) and tweedledee and tweedledum up in Sactown are willing, then someone ought to start a new thread about it.

The only downside to draft is that some of the cards are going to better to keep and not sell right away.

I still think, at the current price, BC Football has a lot of potential for a break like this. Especially with the condensed rookie checklist this year.

I'd be interested in that too. I only suggested draft because I know that bored 14-year-olds will need a break from saying how bored they are on their MySpace pages for some Jaypers-inspired prospecting.

lol, this is true Jug. Topps Sterling could be a fun profit sharing break as well.

I agree with swerve on Bowman Chrome football as well. Although the SP autos will be pretty tough to pull, the quantity lots of RCs and parallels should do well.
