If we stop along the way to trying a full master case we just have to warn people of a deadline and stop at a multiple of 11.

I was thinking about this break and had a couple of ideas to toss out there...

Why not just sell 9 slots per 3 box case? Each slot will receive a memo/auto and a base card (1st memo/auto slot per box gets first base card, second memo/auto gets second base card, thirs memo/auto gets thirs base card in the box). Since the first memo/auto slot seems to have the least likely chance of being a multi colored memo. or auto, the first slot for each box will get the mini parallel.
By my calculations, if each slot was $102, they would now be $124 or $125.

Tim,

I was thinking the same thing last night when the 22nd slot was purchased. I would suggest we keep this thread open until Tuesday or Wednesday. See if we get others interested. If we want to order the cases on Monday though, we can do that too. I could always order the cases Monday and keep what ever sealed cases we don't sell slots for. That way we'd have the cards even sooner, but I don't think this will be an issue. Especially with Christmas coming up. I think these cards will sell through Christmas without losing any interest. In fact, I think they may start to gain interest.

I thought the way it was set up with 11 slots was perfect. That is why I am on board again in fact.

I am like you on this product Matt. I think the singles will gain strength. However, I think the wax will drop in price next week. Of course, I could be wrong. Having said that, it's up to you and the others when we buy.

Would you buy slots if we did it this way?

I'm a believer in the base and minis. We could sure do it this way, but now we are starting to get up there in price. I still think we may be able to do this for $99 per slot because the price has come down a bit from when we ordered the case. Chris knocked a couple of hundred off since this was a group break.

Guys, I'm out for the day. We are putting on an after-Halloween party for about 40 kids, and of course all their parents, at my house today. My wife and I are the "blind refs", and we will do our best to control the kids.

Have a great weekend!

I might be in for a couple either way. Just have to wait until next week. I was trying to come up with a way so that no one had to worry about getting a $20 single color memo. as their $100 slot is all. I realize that it is all a gamble, but thought I would toss the idea out to see what others thought.

I followed everything in the thread except for this. How could this be true?

Enough master cases have been broken to show us that there is not a "case hit" for this product. So if we end up with only 22 participants, and we end up breaking two separate three-box cases, we would not be diminishing our chances at missing out on a guaranteed "case hit." In fact, since I don't think any of us believes that a master case would contain two different one of ones, we could conceivably do better with two random three-box cases and hit two big ones!
