My 2 cards from the first case have decent BV well in excess of my buy in. In the very, very soft hockey card market we are currently in (trust me I know from both a large recent show and on line sales) I very much doubt at this point in time I could get back my buy in amount should I choose to sell the cards at the present moment. Let's not get carried away at this point and continue to play within ourselves and stay under control. If the Cup was such a hot product was is it down 25% from its release point? Great cards mind you but very high risk; but it is still UD and we have certainly seen some less than stellar case breaks out there as well. TimC did a super great job with this break and should be appluaded by all but let's take this one step at a time. Just my 2 cents as we all say....
I understand what everyone is saying here .. but, at least IMO, the idea of the 2nd case was to make more slots available to a greater audience ... not to shove more slots down existing slot-holders' throats. At the same time, it could make for a more interesting break. It does look, however, like it will be difficult to fill the slots by this afternoon ... but there's no harm in keeping it open until then.
I have updated the first message with payment status.

PLEASE include your board name with your payment!! The single most difficult part of doing one of these breaks is matching up payments with people and addresses!!

Thanks!! TimC

Ditto. And the 2nd most difficult/time consuming part is hunting down addresses if they're not included in the Paypal payment.

You're welcome Nick. It just means you will get your cards a couple of days sooner. Have a good trip. Hope it's not all for work.

who cares - sell them anyways - just tell her, "if we sell them we can get another case and if we hit it big, i could buy you something with the profit!"

and BAM - another case.

Just make sure you don't buy her a mood ring with the profits. It will end up causing you pain. Trust me.

CAP,

If i'm those two cards away from breaking even or better....I'll do it. My G/F gets excited for the cards in the moment and soon after she doesn't even think about them....until the next hit when she'll bring up "her collection". The only time she brings up her collection is if I hit something she wants to put into it!!! BOOOOOOOOO......If I take a month break from ripping she would forget and then I could sell off "her collection."....hehehe
