Hey Guys,

Didn't know where to post this, but decided this was as good a place as any. I have spoken to Matt a couple of times and told him I would post this info. He has been without electricity/internet (still have propane and a wood burning stove so they are keeping warm) for over a week now as a result of the major ice storms that hit last week. He said he would not have electricity back until the 27th. I know he had some house damage and is helping take care of relatives who were also hit hard. Let's be sure and remember him and his family in our prayers over the Christmas Holidays. He said to tell everyone "hi" and that he looked forward to getting back on line!

Thanks for sharing the information with us Ken. I hope that all goes well for Matt and that they can get his electricity restored before the 27th!

Thank goodness he has access to heat. Hopefully everyone can stay huddled together and keep themselves entertained.

I know for me personally, a few days in close quarters with my extended family with no power would be no picnic.

i was wondering what happened? he got the 8 cases of razor poker and then just disappeared. i assumed tinamrb must have got him

Man that sucks !!! Sorry to hear that at any time but especially this time of year. No power til the 27th !? That seems like some p-poor emergency service by the power company.

I get the feeling that he lives pretty far out in the country. He said when he awoke after the storm that every tree and powerline he could see was down or damaged. The guys that live out in the country are always the last to get power back. I got the feeling that they were doing well and didn't need anything, just anxious to get power back.
