Scheduled release is 1/25.

Using the site information:

6 bx/$869.99 (We can do a 12 box case if there is enough interest)

Total cost with 2 day delivery would be $895


Number of slots:

36 - game used/auto

6 - base (16 cards - each slot would be all base, including base parallels, from one box)

6 - rookies (2 cards - each slot would be all rookies, including rookie parallels, from one box)


48 slots total


Slot cost:

1 slot - $22 paypal / $21 check, mo

2 slots - $43 paypal / $42 check, mo

3 slots - $63 paypal / $62 check, mo

4 slots - $82 paypal / $81 check, mo

5+ slots - $20 each paypal / $19.75 each check, mo


Obviously these numbers can be adjusted based on an official price from Chris and whether or not there is enough interest for a 6 or 12 box case.

I'm new to the site, how does the case break work? I may be interested even if I am only looking for 3 cards in the set.

this would be a fun break, ESPECIALLY if SPGU is as strong as last years and if it had hot boxes too.

According to the press releases, each case should contain two hot boxes.
Although if you bought into a presell, you could in theory purchase a pack for the same price as buying a slot here.

usually someone will start a thread indicating interest in doing a possible group break, and someone (usually with the ability to record the break and post on youtube) will step up and end up coordinating the break (usually already an 'established' member of the board).

the person coordinating the break is responsible for securing the discounted case price Chris usually gives for a blowoutcards sponsored group break, determining the amt of slots per case and price per slot. this is via discussion ni a thread dedicated to the break where all the details are refined. (check out the group breaks thread for examples) The person coordinating the break is also responsible for outlining to everyone involved how the slots will align with how the cards in the pack fall.

Slots are generated randomly (sometimes by a third party who has nothing vested in the break, sometimes by the person coordinating the break.) payment per slot is made via paypal.

once the break is made and the results are posted, usually the youtube video showing the break is posted not too long afterwards.

sometimes there are hiccups (i.e. the product never got released ) and they've been resolved.... some people get great cards (someone in the last Cup break received a Gretzky auto).. and some people dont get cards like that.

everyone going into the break hopefully understands that its a gamble just like everything else (buying packs/boxes/cases), but personally i think its a great shot at getting a huge card for what amounts to "pennies" in the big scheme of things.

Well, I'll look around for information on that, or if anyone has something concrete on this then please post it. If that is the case then that will equal more slots which will equal a lower price.

Would there be more interest if we just did away with the base slots and raised the price per slot?
