I busted 2 cases of Exquisite today as well during my lunch hour - and I never knew my balls tasted like that!! The bad thing - I knew it would be like that, but I was not going to let some lame-a$$ e-mail me saying he got the mystery redemption in my box that he bought for next to nothing. I can now sleep at night because I busted the cases (which makes no sense, but makes absolute sense??).
Like Crash, I will 100% ABSOLUTELY NEVER purchase an unopened UD product for the rest of my life. Period. Outside of SPx baseball last year (which was easy to do ok with because of the redemptions), I haven't opened anything for awhile. This was one last opportunity for them to prove SOMETHING to me. They proved it ok - they're worthless. I'll be glad to pick up cards for my PC, but NEVER will I open another UD product.
Get this - I'll post a scan later - the one good card in my 2 cases - Derek Jeter & Micah Owings dual auto (WTF is up with that pairing) - AND it is 1/2. Nice...but, the Jeter auto was signed in (a) invisible ink or (b) transparent ink. You can sort of see it there if you hold it at the right angle, but not if you look straight on. Wait 'til you see the scan.
