I'm having a hard time biting my tongue on this one.

Currently, there have been 621 different views on this thread and still 12 slots yet to be spoken for. Buying 4 or 5 slots would hardly constitute "buying up all the slots". Furthermore, in the past when there was a greater demand than supply of slots, there would be another case break. As I recall, 2 different people wanted to do this break. What would it hurt if this break got completely filled, and we had to add an additional case?

If you want another slot or two, there are still some available Cubfan. If in the end, there aren't enough slots to go around, I wouldn't mind giving up 1 or 2 of mine. It's no big deal to me. I sure would like to see it get filled though first, before we start worrying if a few of us bought too many.

I was trying to be nice to others. That is all. When this break was first discussed it was actually mentioned that it be kept to one or 2 slots only. After the other days craziness I thought it would fill up quicker but that may not be the case. i guess we will have to wait till Wed. Not everyone is on the boards all weekend.

It was just something that was mentioned when Sideline was getting his break lined up. That is all.
Like I said, now it seems silly because there is not a line waiting around the corner to get in on this break. I do not know if it has anything to do with the 2 breaks at the same time fiasco of the other day or what?

This statement is not directed to anyone directly. When the case breaks started I got in a few of them but I like to buy a lot of slots. As newer people started to join the board and buy slots or shares in the group breaks I got the feeling that several didn't like it because some of us were buying a lot of slots or shares so to give more people a chance to buy slots in a case instead of 2 or more cases I quit buying anymore slots in rhe group breaks and started buying cases again. By the way I never did get the case hit it was always won by someone that bought a few slots. I was just as happy for them as if I had won the case hit myself. That might have changed if the hit was a multi thousand dollar card. LOL LOL LOL. Good luck to all of the people buying slots.

It initially was meant to be a joke between me and mwheeler. I am not upset over anything. Like I said if there is a limit I will honor that, if there is not what are we talking about.

Its not like we are getting anything for free. We are actually helping to fund most breaks and take the risk of losing money on 5 slots instead of 1. See my Exquiste Rookies Card Selections and my Sportkings breaks.

Lets drop this and move on, if the breaker wants to set limits that is their choice if not, drop it.

if people aren't taking the slots it should be fair game to anyone willing to take them regardless of how many slots they might already have...when it comes down to it if they're willing why not allow them if others aren't jumping at the chance?

I am not setting limits...I am just trying to keep the peace. If you all want my opinion, I am all for people buying as many slots as they want. The faster we get this filled up and ready to go the better. I like to plan ahead and have everything a go. It really should be a first come, first serve. But, like I said, I am trying to keep the peace. So, that's why I made the "Wednesday" statement. It doesn't seem like it's filling up very fast anyway.
