Default GAMBLERS: High End High Risk 05/06 UD The Cup Group Case Break

OK boys and girls, I have been thinking about this for a while now. It may be highly unlikely this break will happen because of the risk(hence the title) and the price. But I want to throw this out there to see if there is any interest. I think this will be a fun and exciting way to do the break. Here we go:

I've contacted Chris and he gave me a Case price of $3200. Here is my logic:

30 slots @ $150/slot

Full refund if there aren't 30 slots.
Base slots will be refunded $130
-Base slots include base #'ed 249 & Gold base #'ed /25
If there happen to be extra slots the slot #'s will be randomly generated.

This is obviously a high risk group break if this break happens. This break will be video taped.

Can you guys and girls find the Gambler in you? Are you guys willing to take the chance at one of hockey's most prized cards?? This will probably be the best and cheapest way to see a case opened and experience this once in a long time break. Lets see if we can get this going.

Speaking only for myself, I think Tim C's 06-07 Cup break is the model for doing these. I would never risk $185 for a base card possibility. Would rather bump up the slots and get most of my money back if I get the dreaded base card. If others are interested and agree, look at Tim C's old 06-07 Cup group break threads. Just my .02.

Or are you already factoring that in above? It's kinda confusing.

Tim,

All base cards(/249 & /25) would be one slot. The Platinum 1/1 base cards would be a hit if one was pulled.

ok, got that part now. So if there are 21 hits, there would be three extra slots already pre-determined that go to three lucky participants?

Exactly!!! Slot assignments will be generated then they will be regenerated for the extras. People have to remember before they comit though that they can easily get $60 card. That is why I stress this is a very high risk break.

The only suggestion I have is to make the base cards and the first extra slot go to the same person. Then after that, if you have any additional extra slots randomly generated, the base slot person is not eligible for further "extras" at that point.

That is doable.

I'm interested. I read about the last Cup case break and was very intrigued. I'd love to see a case of that broke with my money involved.
