Fish you are on point with this break.

For all you aspiring group case breakers note Fish's methodology for putting together a well organized break

Just posted slot prices in case there is anyone else on the fence with doing this. I had initially figured 23 a slot, and we're at 22.50 per slot. If we can get 96 slots (currently at 38, needing 58 more, we can get down another buck per slot!

Remember your getting not only a hit (auto or gu), but a full 8 box case worth of base cards (nothing huge on average 12-15 cards...but that includes the rookies, inserts, and parallels!). At 22.50 a slot, you won't take a huge loss if you don't get anything big. Last break we did the lower teams (falcons, and titans) walked away with the big hits! Don't like the team you get, work a trade to get the team you want!

Keggobelly, I have you in for one.

Right now we've got 40 slots. We'd need to pick up an additional 24 to do 2 8 box cases, or cut 8 slots to do just 1 8 box case. Don't want this to drag on and everyone loose interest. Suggestions/thoughts?

Fish if you don't pick up another 24 you may just have to cut the last 8 takers. Just not enough interest...out of your control. Maybe give it until over the weekend to make the call.

I am just looking for clarification before I commit; We pay for a slot, get a hit, and a team where we get the inserts and base. Correct?

Correct. Since there are 32 teams and 32 hits (Auto or GU) per 8 box case, I figured why not mix it up.....so for each slot your'll get a hit and a team. Your Hit slot will be an auto or GU, or if we're really lucky both (ala the Elway we hit last time). Plus your'll get a team and all of its inserts (minus any that are GU or Auto'd) - so any of parallels (red/blue/emerald/black), rookies, and the base cards.

If we can get this filled (at this point hoping to pull off 64, but 96 is still the goal), I'm basically turning it into 1-3 inner case group breaks (LCM has a 24 box master case setup with three 8 box inner cases), so say someone has 8 slots. Once I run everything through random.org they may get 3 slots in the first inner case, 2 in the 2nd inner case, and 3 in the 3rd inner case (or 4/0/4, all depends). But then you can trade up/down/across the inner cases to stack your odds and/or get your favorite teams (this is why we do the group breaks right

The bonus of getting each inner case break filled (32/64/96 slots), is that each inner case has one of the "stamp" cards. Vintage got it in the last LCM Group Break (Sidney Rice Auto /25).
