Default Virginia Beach LCS

Anyone in the VB area have recommendations for a hobby shop to hit up? I came up with three on card shop finder but some reviews would be helpful. I'll be in VB for a week by myself for work so I'll be bored lol. I'm also planning to go to a couple Tides games. Any other recommendations? Any good breweries?

Here is an old thread I dug up. If you want more info hit me up via PM.

Question for Virginia collectors

I even saw a new shop 757 Collectibles as I was running errands earlier. But I have never been inside and I am not sure they have wax.

No local Witchduck Bingo show this month. If you are looking for a certain product call around, I know CANDL Coins and Stamps will gladly order it for you to have on the shelf.

Where are you staying? Chesapake? Town Center? Downtown Norfolk? Breweries are getting really popular in this area. But some are reeaaallllyyy spread apart.

Awesome thanks! Don't know why I didn't get that to come up when I searched. I'll be staying in Virginia Beach right off Pacific Ave on the water. I'll have a car and outside of 9-5, I'll have time to burn.

You have a few options at the beach, and there are 2-3 just 10 min away if you head towards Little Creek and Chix Beach. Or hit up Whole Foods (Hilltop Area). They have a lunch counter with a bunch of beer to try. Find one you like and fill up a growler to take home.

Heroes off of Witchduck is a great card shop to visit.

Heroes has a good selection but their prices are a bit high.
Candl Coins has better pricing but not much of a selection at the moment
B&Bs collectibles -I haven't been there in a while but prices were on the higher end

I don't really get card shops, I guess they're convenient if you have to bust something right away but I can order most things from Blowout for less (including tax & S/H) and have it in 1 day.

Thanks for the tips. Not really looking for wax, I pick that up at my own LCS. Mainly just looking to browse singles etc

Local paper just had a brewery article:

Hampton Roads craft brewers win awards from Virginia Craft Brewers Guild | Alcohol | pilotonline.com
