Pasadena/LA/West Covina Shops???

Will be traveling to the Rose Bowl for the third straight year. This time my dad and I planned the trip so we can do some sightseeing and hopefully get to some card shops as well as go to the Frank and Son show. Are there any shops that you would recommend and let me know a little about the shop. High end? Wax? Memorabilia? Boxes to pick through?

There is a shop in Orange County called oc sports cards

Not the best prices but not too bad. Blowout has better deals but if you have an ich to rip some boxes that's the closest one I know of

They also have live autograph signings of players sometimes and they do have memorabilia as well

Your best bet for wax at competitive prices is frank and sons on Wednesday and Saturday. All other shops in LA jack up their prices.

Callieanne has made a good suggestion, the OC Dugout in Anaheim is pretty decent. Brian is the owner and he's got a good selection of wax. Nothing compares to blowoutcards in terms of price but if you got that itch, check out that store. Another place with a good selection is south bay cards in Lomita. Again a little pricier but it is what it is. One place i would avoid is burbank sportscards. Really good selection but you have to be desperate to rip wax because it will cost you. Good luck.

Are there any shops that have boxes of singles to go through? Looking more for a shop with that type of stuff. Not really looking to buy wax as I normally collect sets of baseball and wait for Heritage, Ginter, and Gypsy Queen to be released.

Frank and sons has a few vendors with tons of boxes of singles to go through, like jerseys and autos and inserts. The other shops I named don't have a good selection of singles. I hope you find what you in la!
