Looking for cool hobby shops in the DC/MD/VA area, and was wondering if anyone else trades in this area?

Looking for the same... any recommendations? The one that was near me closed up after being in business 20 years. Looking to bring my business to someone who has good prices on wax and is friendly.

House of Cards - Baseball cards, football cards, autographs and sports memorabilia store Silver Spring Maryland Washington DC - buy, sell shop - Silver Spring, MD

CSA show is at the beginning of April - Collectors' Showcase of America|CSA Shows

Also the Shoff show is the 24th in Tysons Corner VA - Shoff's Web Page

plus this show happens every now and then - Doughboy'z Sports Cards - Sports Card Show at Fairfax Best Western! (Next show @ Best Western in FFX is in June)

Great info here! 100% agree with ajscards101.

Here are some bad ones:
Collector's Corner in Sterling, VA (Overpriced)
Ron's Collector World in Annandale, VA (Even more overpriced)
AJ's in Vienna, VA (Too much inventory and a big mess)

Possibly. Not 100% sure. A lot of the dealers will probably be at CSA in a few weeks, so not sure if I'm gonna go to this one.

AJs is actually one of the better ones on that list imo. I wouldn't include them there. It may be a bit unorganized and have that "used bookstore" smell, but friendly owners and some nice stuff.
