Default Card stores - Richardson, Plano, Allen TX??

Hi there

I will be over from the UK for a few days in about a week or so and, as a keen high-end collector (baseball mainly, but will look at Football and Basketball). Just wondered if anyone could recommend any local card stores.

We will be north of Dallas in the Richardson, Plano, Allen area.

Many thanks

In my opinion; Nick's, SMP, and Triple Cards are the best shops in DFW. Have a safe trip.

I was just in Triple Cards last Saturday, and they have a bunch of singles and tons of wax, including older wax from all sports. Also got 3 walls of base singles that are broken down by year and in chronological order. Easy to go through if you need to finish some sets back to 1980 in all 4 major sports. Also have inserts broken down by year in all sports. Lots of great prices on supplies as well. I do recommend that place as I drive about 3 hours from time to time just to go there.

I live in Haskell which is 3 hours from the metroplex and that's the closest shops to me which is sad. I've only been to nick's in plano. he has a nice place and it was nice to be able to have a conversation with an owner.

on a side note after seeing some of the responses I will have to hit up triple sports next time.

You don't sound like Simon Cowell do you? JK man.

These guys are right, there are some outstanding shops in the DFW Metroplex. I travel through there a few times a year and really enjoy all of the shops. Have fun!
