Technically you'd need sig. confirmation, but I think registered will also qualify if your looking to cover your butt 100%. More than likely your ok. I presume you only used the ebay contact me for the 1st email, then did everything else through your email? If so worst case scenerio he'd report it to ebay and you'd get suspended.

He contacted me via email. I still have all the emails. Is signature confirmation more? On top of Registered?

Actually I think Sig. Confirmation is cheaper. Not sure Registered can provide an online signature which would be needed since your sale is over 250.
