SPAmazing: 2 boxes

I got 2 boxes of 07-08 SP Authentic and 1 tin of Sweet Shot from our friends at Blowout Cards. The Sweet Shot tin wasn't spectacular by any means, and the SPA was pretty average until the 3rd last pack of the 2nd and final box. Please read on to see why. Let's start with some Sweet Shot first:

At this point I'm not overly thrilled about the box so far. Box 1 was decent and so was box 2 with the Backstrom auto, but I have my hopes up because I have 3 packs left, one of which is really really thin, the other really thick (at this point I had already pulled the standard 3 decoys that come in a box of SPA) and the final pack being average in size. In my gut I know I'm getting a patch card so I open the regular sized one and... let's just call it a rookie chasers dream against all odds. A 2 for 1 so to speak:

Overall, the Sweet Shot was a dud. Box 1 of SPA was okay. Ryan is decent and Kostitsyn is one of my favourite players so it's all good. As you can imagine, box 2 had me going nuts! First with the Backstrom Auto RC, then with 3 packs to go a Toews FW auto. In 5 boxes of SPA I know that you only get 1 hit a pack but I could see a bit of red trim at the top of the card behind the Toews. I slowly pulled the Toews down only to reveal a chunk of Price's blue mask. Wow, at that point, as you can imagine, I was going nuts. Not one, but 2 FW autos in a pack, and the 2 biggest rookies of the year!! Funny thing is I JUST sold a Kane FW Auto which I had pulled out of a box of SPA last week rounding off the top 4 rookies to pull from the set.

oh btw, from the final 2 packs, the really fat pack had 8 base cards and the thin pack had 2 cards, one being the Sakic Notables.

I'm not looking to trade any of the Price, Toews, Backstrom or Kostitsyn at this moment. I'm kinda undecided what I wanna do. Everything else is for trade. The Kane is gone.
