What to get???

I need a fix. I'm leaving work early today and I think I'm going to head over to the LCS and try to reverse my luck. Any suggestions on what I should buy?? Nothing tooo cheap nothing tooo expensive. I would prefer hockey but the only thing recent is too expensive and I would really like to get a few boxes of something that has an ok rip and flip prospectus.

Football & Hockey preferably.....maybe baseball

My G/F might get pissed but as long as I am happy.

You follow hockey closer than I do, but I still think 05/06 Rookie Update has potential and you'll typically get some decent cards at a reasonable price. Down side is the LCS may not be priced around current wholesale levels as I think its below cost...but if Ultra is in (releases this week)..could be peak time to break and list.

Football right now I'd say GG since it I think its the newest release. Chromes not a bad break, but given the market you'll need a solid auto (preferrable colored) to break even.

Topps Highlights just came out..2 sketches a case and seems to have decent content. Given the Ray's rookies, could have potential?

I know they still have some 05/06 Rookie Update but they are asking way to much for it.

I've never been of fan of GG because I just don't get lucky to pull anything good.

Is Topps Highlights a lowend product or middle of the pack?

I'd say upper low end? Its not a base issue Topps, but since it typically has the traded players and/or rookies, its a product that can sell well for a few years (probably more so now given the new MLB rookie rules).

Does Ultra sell well out of the gate? I was thinking about picking up a box or 2 of it or OPC, haven't decided yet.

If you list them today and tomorrow you should get a good return over listing them next week. Especially since the Season just started.
