Jared Cowen was the 9th overall pick in 2009, and is a solid defensive prospect for the Senators. Lars Eller was another top pick who was the prospect Montreal got in return for Jaroslav Halak; he'll probably end up as a top 6 forward sometime in his future. Nice pulls though; congratulations on the good break.

Please dont say Jared Cowan is a solid defensive prospect for the Sen. I live in Spokane, WA and go to his WHL games since he is playing for the Spokane Cheifs. He makes so many mistakes, is nothing near solid, and never uses his size to his advantage. He towers over all other players in the WHL, but never throws his weight around. Tyler Johnson who just got signed by Tampa is a great scorer and very athletic look for his cards next year maybe, also Dustin Tokarski the goaltending prospect for Tampa as well was always good in net for Spokane, came up big in tough spots all the time! Just some local advice for you guys!
