First Ever Hockey Break 10/11 Upper Deck The Cup

The LCS store owner is a great salesman. Got me to buy a case of Inception last week and now got me to buy a box of The Cup. I've never bought hockey before and I really don't even watch it so this was a straight rip and hope to make my money back situation. Suffice to say I think I did well.

And this, from what I was told, monster hit.....

Sidney Crosby Scripted Sticks /35

I was told by the store owner and a few of the other guys there that having the partial name of the stick manufacturer may make this a rarer piece. Anyone have any ideas what this is worth or if that stick name does add to the overall value?

A lot of stick pieces will have some sort of graphics on them. I'd say it is simply a matter of eye appeal and how readable the signature is and such. Great card and very nice that it was live and not a redemption as many of his autos are.

Stick adds a ton of value. I still wish it was like last year though, with those beautiful "Property Of" 1/1's. But nonetheless, congrats!

I forget the name of the other autograph and base card. I keep seeing that boxes with a bigger hit like this usually get a decoy card instead of a sixth card. I guess either I got lucky or that case has another big time card somewhere in it.

Oh, there are still Property Of cards...these didn't replace them. There are only like 5 players in this set. Or did you mean that the Property Of cards should be autographed? I'm actually shocked they have yet to do that.
