$1200 is a pretty good price for that card. what sucks is that if there was even a hint at another color, you would have gotten a few more hundred bucks.

hey brian - out of curiosity, how much did you pull in from your case minus the stall? I'm looking to get a case and am trying to get an idea of how much people have pulled in from their breaks without the big hits.. thanks!

the staal really made the case. i made about $100-200 profit on an 6 box case but the staal sold for 1200. the rest of the cards sold for 1100-1200. i have two cards left over and gave two cards away. maybe could've made an extra 50-75 if i had sold all. i got about $125 for a reggie leach /25 cup foundation, $125 for a letang card with a sick patch of the penguin logo, $80 for a phanuef limited logos /50 3 color, and $35 for an inginla signature patch /75 1 color. base i sold from $6-10 except a gretzky which i got $50 for. that is all i can remember. i really enjoyed it but if i did not hit the staal would have been in trouble. i would like to think that ud made it so if you got a big rookie hit the rest wasn't as strong but that may be giving them too much credit. if i had the funds would probably do another case because it was fun, some of the patches were incredible and it is quick and easy if you are selling.

Blowout is out of 3 tin cases. They only have 6 tin cases. I have already asked Chris. I wonder what kind of case price i'll get if I youtube my case break????? anyone have an idea?? I think I will be ordering the case next Wednesday and hopefully get it by Saturday.

Theoretically speaking. The term "case hit" shouldn't be "case hit" if there isn't a case hit. There usually is a "CASE" card in a case.

Depends on your definition of a case hit vs. Upper Deck's definition of a case hit. My "case hit" was a Larry Robinson Quad Patch Auto #/5 multi-color that sold for $75.00, so go figure. My two Limited Logo's smoked that card.

I'm getting kinda scared watching some of these auctions for The Cup. I think it may be too late to buy a case and sell. We may not break even unless there is a monster in a case.

and a tiger auto from spgu.. i dont know.. a few hundred from what i remember seeing on ebay. i was giong to get a case but decided against it last minute.
