2 1/2 Boxes of Black Diamond

I've had pretty bad luck this year with hockey except for Parkhurst, until now.

I stopped by the local card/comic shop and they had the new Black Diamond in. They had an open box with 12 packs left and I bought those to check them out, I liked the look of the cards so I got 2 boxes to go and just finished opening them and pretty much annihilated the odds.

Did they cut production this year? I pulled 5 ruby parallels which I thought were 1:2 boxes last year.
