I know I can't really afford this, but it's so beautiful that I am going to have to miss a car payment or three in order to get a case.

I see Clouts N Chara or however the hell you spell it has it for $419.99 preorder, but they can only ship to Canada. I haven't seen a US preorder yet. I will check at my LCS tonight and see what they are going to be selling it for.

Distributor pricing is 299 a box at case pricing. Ill get mine for 325-340 at a local shop. He doesn't inflate prices based on market demand. Just charges based on his cost.

for those who are looking for pre-orders online, it's normal that you can't find them until VERY close to release day. Cup orders are allocated to vendors based on how much product they've ordered from UD over the course of the year. since most stores haven't been told the amount they'll be allocated, they won't know how many pre-orders they can or can't fill.

i pre ordered a case a couple months out back in 09/10. i seem to remember pre-orders available early enough last year too, probably because the product was severely delayed. i've heard one site had pre-orders but no longer has it. bottom line is as long as it still comes out Sep. 11th then i'll be fine with that.

Im gonna have to try my hand in Cup this year again. Last year I tried 3 boxes of Cup and three boxes of Dominion. Also did a number of case breaks of Dominion on blogtv. Id say I prolly did better with the Dominion. I do love the Cup RPA though, and the Nuge should not disapoint this year. Also 1/1 come up alot in these boxes and if you hit the right one, your in the bank. Wish Upper Deck still put the Tiger and Jordan cards in the series, I missed the early better years I guess.

I must say I have a strong affinity for The Cup, as my hit rate is roughly 75% for 2010-11, but drops to 60% if you count my tin of 2007-08.

Here is a list of my monster hits (in no particular order):
1.) Tyler Seguin auto / patch rookie to 99
2.) Nicklas Lidstrom Honorable Numbers 2/5
3.) Mike Modano / Ryan Kesler Dual auto Shields 1/1

I can only hope to be as lucky with the 2011/12 product! I sent the Lidstrom in to BGS as the card looked pretty good (these cards often have damaged corners), hopefully I hit a nice grade.

Update: the Lidstrom came back a 9 and 10 auto. The corners were an 8.5, which brought down the overall grade. If the corners had been a 9, I might have gotten near a 9.5.

If ANYONE gets a link to a pre-order, PLEASE PM me. Had an LCS years ago in NJ that dealt in NHL, but moving to Tampa ended that. No good LCS' here and they have no knowledge in NHL.

How come blowout doesn't offer?

Product is severly allocated so no one has pre-sales yet. UD still has sep 11th as release date and some images have hit the internet so I would expect a few days before release the major sites will finally open up for pre-sell. Based on C/C's site, boxes will be about $415ish and cases around $2450. A bit higher than the last few years, but hopefully UD compensates for the slightly weaker rookie class and loads up the big hits.
