That's ok, I did that at my local card shop, too. There were 2 boxes of 06-7 the cup on the shelf, another guy bought one and cracked it in shop....he didn't get much. The best thing he got was a Stanley cup Signatures Nicklas Lidstrom. I immediately went up to the counter, bought the final box and pulled the redemption for Alexander Radulov (which turned out be a 4 color patch auto) and a Cup Foundations Patrick Roy Jersey card /25 (I think).

Best part about that was that my girlfriend was with me and I looked her dead in the eye and told her I don't care if you're going to be mad about this, I am doing it anyways. Good thing it turned out the way it did or I was going to hear it!

As long as its a hockey product my girlfriend doesn't care how much I spend. She still doesn't know about the $$$$ I spent last week on the two boxes of Sterling BB!!! Shhhhhhhhh!!!!

The OV and Crosby was pulled as well. Depending on how dry its gotten there may still be many of those left. I've seen only a couple of handfuls max on the bay. I always check The Cup 1/1's for auction

I was just reading back on how Matt and HJ haven't hit any /99 RC in 06-07 The Cup, while Bohica hit two /99 RC in the same case.....I've bought a ton of this stuff and have only hit one /99. I just think that CB has a lot of luck

yah i got lucky with the cup.. then lady luck took my juju and absolutely CRAPPED on me with 07 bc fb. i haven't been the same since.

I only opened 1 tin of the Cup last year and pulled a Kessel /99. It was one color but I beat the hell out of the odds. The only problem is I kept the card and then bought others and now can't get half my money back on them.
I picked 2 players to invest in from 06-07 Cup and got killed with both.

Thats a shame, too. Kessel is a good player. I have yet to see anything really good from Radulov.

Kessel will be fine, he is still only like 20ish- most folks lose the focus of how young some of these guys are (especially in hockey), I always ask people what were you doing when you were their age. Most of us were in school or just thinking about beer and chicks all the time. No idea or concept of how to train, think and act like a professional athlete and play in front of 15 thousand folks 3 or 4 nights a week. It takes a while to adjust..........

I think that if I do a live break it will be at around 7 pm EST. If not it may get pushed back till about Midnight. 7 pm is probably a safe bet though! I gotta be out by 820 though....got pick the gf up from hockey practice.

Yeah HJ, my gf plays hockey, she's played for about 3 years now and can skate circles around me (then again, I don't play hockey). She plays on the University at Buffalo women's club team. If I get the Crosby /99, I'm thinking about donating 5% of what it sells for on ebay (after fees) to the team, because they have no money! But that's way ahead of me right now, gotta get the Crosby first!
