07/08 MVP Hockey Rookie Packs Redemptions - 3 packs

David Perron- Blues
Jonathan Toews- Hawks

Kyle Chipchura- Habs

pack two
Nicklas Backstrom- Caps

Jiri Tlusty- Leafs
Kris Russell- Jackets

pack three
Bobby Ryan- Ducks
Byran Little- Thrashers
Nicklas Bergfors-Devils

is there any significance to the script auto vice the printed script- I feel I should know but help me out if there is some type of delta...

alll in all not bad- I think I did very well with the Toews and the Backstrom, Ryan and Little not too bad either. Aside from the card photos being virtually the same shots (the Backstrom is for sure) as they put on OPC (see my earlier rants on the 7/8 UD I 2 box break & the "why so many UD haters" on the FB board), pretty decent 3 box/pack/break......... anyone else get theirs?

My girlfriend hated that a lot of the photos on OPC looked like ones on MVP/Victory/etc., so I am not surprised that others have noticed this and not liked it as well.

Some cards have the printed script. Others don't. Maybe they didn't have a stock facsimile auto for the ones with printed script? Sorta like how Bowman cards have the facsimile auto from the player's Topps contract, maybe the autos on MVP are from the player's UD contract, although then you have to wonder why ANY of them would have printed script instead. Regardless, they aren't parallels/variations. Each card either has a printed script or a facsimile auto.

I sold all mine for $6 each.

If they don't have the signature on file, which they don't because they deal with the NHLPA, they use a cursive script. Over the course of time, they get a signature and then wham, they use it on the card.

If you want to move that Backstrom PM me.

I gotta host of customers who are clamoring for young Nicklas- just cant seem to get my hands on enough of them, worst part I am kinda sorta building that MVP set for my PC.........so read between the lines on that- ha ha..........
