Default Best Hockey Pull Ever - 08-09 Artifacts

As a general rule of thumb, I don't open much wax. I buy a lot of cards, but don't open much wax. Had a few cases of 08-09 Artifacts blasters (yes, retail blasters) that I picked up a while back. I'd planned on taking them to the national to blow out with a bunch of other retail I have, but got bored and wanted to open something. I'd never opened any of these, so I wanted to see what they were like. 8th box in, I got this. I'd love to hear what you all think this could bring on eBay. I'm sure I'll take it to the National, but list it on eBay if I don't sell it there.

Looking for Andre Dawson Serial numbered cards that are his jersey number - either #8 or #10. So looking for cards like 8/8 or 08/99 or 10/250.

Awesome card Dan.

I had to brag on your Blasters as you know about the 1/1 Favre I got from 2008 Topps Chrome.

I bust extremely exessive amounts of Wax, especially Topps Chrome and had never pulled a Superfractor until I busted a Retail blaster box I got from you at the show.

My third ever 1/1's...Jim Thorpe and Rex Grossman were my first in same Limited pack
All three 1/1's from your boxes.
You rock man!!!

Very cool, although I detest that hits like these come in Blasters. Make me wonder why people buy Hobby at all.

Wow...Great hit! I didn't know that there were 1/1 autos in Artifacts hockey. Also, that is a rare autograph since Mason's jersey # is 1.

There may not be any other autos of his like that.

Amazing hit, especially given the fact it was from retail! Mason is still young so his hobby potential is still promising. But this beauty would have sold for moon money his rookie year.

Any idea's for realistic ebay value on this? I do more football than Hockey. Is this the equivalent of, say, Joe Flacco for football?

I would do $599.99 BIN/BO and see what happens.

Thanks. That's what I did. I figure at worst, I can get a feel for real value by the offers that come in. I fully admit that this card is wasted on me - I just need to find the person who will appreciate it the most.

Also - I have another case of the blasters. I was going to put them on my $8 table at the National with a bunch of other blasters, but now I am tempted to open the rest of them. I guess whatever else I could possibly get would still be disappointing after the Mason, so maybe I'll just let them be.

I broke the rest of that case last night. Ended up with 8 jerseys and a bunch of #'ed SP's and #'ed parallels. I got a few parallels numbered to 50 (including a Gretzky), one numbered to 75 and a handful numbered to 100 that had silver borders. I didn't see the Silver ones in Beckett, but I would guess they are about a 2X multiplier on the SP prices? It was a fun break certainly. Especially since I made 7 base sets from the case and the base sets list for $40.
