Well, after busting a case+ of Finest football at the lcs I still had the itch. I guess the Cup photos got to me as I had a hockey itch. It was pretty much between SPA and Ice. This was my first SPA of the year.
I opened the first box at the store. I always open the stuff and slide it back into the packs for transport until I get home. Plus, it's like busting twice as much stuff.
Anyways... the first box had an all white FW Patch of Colin Wilson and an Evander Kane FW auto. I also pulled a Julia Mancuso "The Champions" auto which I thought were to be only extras, so I was shorted a hit.
Opened up box two at home...got another FW Kane auto, Michael Grabner FW auto, and and Ovie Sign of the Times. My first Ovechkin auto and it's even on card!
I've busted a lot of Cup so it's funny I finally pulled one from SPA, especially since I had mentioned to my dealer how nice it was that UD has on card autos for a "lower end" product.
Oh, so then I was "reopening box one" at home...found a hit I missed...a Duchene FW auto! Now, to slap that in a BGS case and sell it in a box as a Retro Rookie for $250! Sure hope my luck carries over to The Cup!
